Network Systems Admin

I am an IT professional with six years of experience and a focus on networking, with additional expertise in system administration and helpdesk support. I have a love of infrastructure and making things work, designing and supporting systems, improving them. I want to help make work and communication easier and more efficient for my team and those that I support. Moderate

  • System Administration

Gaps

  • Automation and AI
  • admittedly not a great higher level programmer/coder. My scripting is relatively basic now but I can tweak existing code for various purposes and work with AI code assistants if needed. I also am not well versed in the minutiae of tweaking RF parameters manually and had some issues with this when I overcorrected during a situation at work (due to interference from the lab, I manually tweaked transmission power, channel width, neighbor timeouts, roaming settings, etc. and it caused more problems for a while that I had to roll back).
  • heavy coding roles, roles with no structure, no team. Maybe roles that don’t really involve tech too much and are more managerial.
